Why?
Using reliable resources when researching for BIGMUN is crucial, whether it be for your position paper, resolution or even a speech. Good sources will give you accurate and true knowledge about the topics you are researching. Finding sources that offer conflicting views can also be good for preparation, as you can already begin to formulate arguments.
What?
Many countries have official knowledge bases offering facts about different issues. It is a good idea to see if your country has one. News media can also be very useful but beware of partisan viewpoints and biased coverage. Wikipedia is for some unavoidable, but know that it can be biased on topics. Perhaps use Wikipedia to guide you to other sources - check out the "Source" section at the bottom of every article.

No matter what sources you use, plagiarism is not tolerated at BIGMUN and will be met with consequences.
